A pair of Alexandre-Pierre Schoenewerk (French, 1820-1885), decorative roundels, plaster cast in 'fictile' ivory by Giovanni Franchi (1811-1874). The roundels represent two Old Testament scenes, one being 'Rachel & Jacob at the well'. Both signed and dated verso by G. Franchi, London 1855, the year Franchi exhibited at the 1855 Paris Universal Exhibition. One signed by Schoenewerk recto base, 8½" diameter
